ಸಿರುಗುಪ್ಪ: ಮಹಾತ್ಮಗಾಂಧಿ ರಾಷ್ರ್ಟೀಯ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಖಾತರಿ ಯೋಜನೆ (ನರೇಗಾ)ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕೂಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಮತದಾನದ ಮಹತ್ವ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಜತೆಗೆ 18 ವರ್ಷ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿ ಮತದಾನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಲೀಲಾವತಿ ಬಂಡೂರಿ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ರಾರಾವಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಬಾಗೇವಾಡಿ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಹೊಲದಿಂದ ಲಕ್ಷಮ್ಮ ಗುಡಿಯವರೆಗೆ ನಾಲ ಹೂಳೆತ್ತುವ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಯ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಮತದಾನ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿಜಾವಿಧಿ ಬೋಧನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತದಾನದ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ನಂತರ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ರಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಮತದಾನದ ಪಾತ್ರ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಣ,ಮದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಂತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದ ಬಡ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯದ ಭದ್ರತೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯವಾಗಿ ನಿರಂತರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಅರ್ಹ ನೋಂದಾಯಿತ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ 309 ರೂ ನಿಂದ 316 ರೂ ಕೂಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ಮಹಿಳೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುರುಷರಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನ ಕೂಲಿ ನೀಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು.
ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದ ಜನರು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಖಾತ್ರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ನಿಮ್ಮಗ್ರಾಮದ ಬದೂ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ,ಕೆರೆ ಹೂಳೆತ್ತುವುದು ಕಾಲುವೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯವಾಗಿ ನಿರಂತರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ನಿರಂತವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಎಲ್ಲಾರು ಇದರ ಸದುಪಯೋಗ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ ಎಂದು ನರೇಗ ಯೋಜನೆ ಸಹಾಯಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು.
ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂ ಕ್ಲರ್ಕ್ ಕಾಂ ಡಿಇಓ ಕೆ.ಸೋಮಶೇಖರ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಾದ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್,ಜಂಬುನಾಥ,ಚಿನ್ನರೆಡ್ಡಿ ,ಬಿ ಎಫ್ ಟಿ ವೀರೇಶ್, ಕಾಯಕ ಮಿತ್ರ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ,ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ನೂರಾರು ಕೂಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಇದ್ದರು.

Siruguppa: Gram Panchayat Development Lilavati Banduri has called upon the laborers working under the Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGA) to make voting compulsory for everyone above the age of 18 years.
From Bagewadi Manjunatha Hola to Lakshamma Gudi in Raravi village of taluk, voting awareness and anti-voting education program is being created for laborers at the place of canal dredging work.
